Biography:

Karen Christiansen, CA is a Partner in MNP’s Kelowna office. For almost 20 years, Karen has delivered a full range of business advisory and assurance solutions to help her clients achieve their goals.

A key member of MNP’s Assurance team, Karen serves a diverse group of clients, including business owners, real estate developers and professionals. Committed to her clients’ success, she delivers strong assurance solutions that help them meet their regulatory, financing and governance requirements.

Karen prides herself on her ability to provide the expertise her clients need to effectively manage and grow their business. Working closely with her clients, she delivers customized and cost-effective solutions to help them resolve their most complex business challenges.

Karen earned her Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 1992 after receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree (majoring in Economics) from the University of British Columbia in 1989. She is a member of both the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA) and Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia (ICABC).

Committed to her profession and community, Karen has held numerous volunteer and committee positions. In 2002, Karen was awarded ICABC’s Early Achievement Award for her outstanding accomplishments and contributions to the profession. Today, Karen is an elected member of the ICABC and a member of the finance committee for The Kelowna Golf and Country Club.
