Biography:

Shelley Legin, MBA, is the Canadian Consulting Lead for MNP’s credit union practice. Shelley brings expert background in financial services and credit union strategy and operations to MNP’s national practice. In her 20 plus years of experience she has held executive roles including; SVP, Celero Solutions, VP, Farm Credit Canada (FCC), VP, Crown Investment Corporation of Saskatchewan (CIC) and VP, CUETS. Shelley’s collaborative leadership style and focus on client success is complemented by a track record of delivery, and attainment of desired results.

Shelley’s significant financial services expertise and strategic approach are powerful strengths that when coupled with a track record of hands-on, collaborative and results-oriented facilitation, make her a valuable resource to both tactical and transformational initiatives. Shelley’s range of skills span a number of critical areas including: change management, board governance, enterprise risk management framework development, and, strategy and business planning expertise.

Shelley is well known to the Credit Union System in Canada and has held numerous committee positions including the Central 1 E-Commerce Committee and OSI User Group. Throughout her career, Shelley has been an advocate for credit union support and success. She is committed to assisting credit unions in achieving business goals, development of board and staff, and, ultimately, delivering on the individual credit union brand promise and affinity to members in an efficient and effective way.
