Dean Magnus, CA, is a Partner in MNP’s Assurance group in Winnipeg. With more than 30 years of experience, Dean delivers assurance services to a diverse range of private and public entities, helping them meet bank and stakeholder expectations, ensure compliance, maximize after-tax earnings and ultimately meet their business and personal goals.

Working one-on-one with his clients, Dean develops a full understanding of their business and family needs, allowing him to deliver high-quality results and successful solutions. As a trusted business advisor, he guides clients through a variety of challenges and issues, including estate planning and post-mortem execution, and mergers and acquisitions, drawing on the firm’s extensive expertise when required.

Dean makes a point of developing innovative solutions that work in his clients’ best interests. His depth and breadth of knowledge contribute to his willingness to take on unusual challenges, such as minimizing a Canadian client’s exposure in an international dispute resolution involving a U.S. Fortune 200 company.

Designated a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 1979, Dean holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Manitoba. He was designated a Certified Financial Planner in 1998.
