Biography:

Bob Twerdun, FCA is the Senior Vice President, Human Capital with MNP, based in the firm’s National Office in Calgary. Bob joined MNP in 1997. His prior work experience included working in public practice and 15 years in post-secondary education, with the last 5 as Chair of the Business and Tourism Division.

As a member of MNP’s Firm Leadership Team, Bob is responsible for all of the firm’s people programs, ensuring alignment with MNP’s carefully preserved and sustained culture and values.

The entire Leadership Team believes that staying true to the firm’s values is the predominant influence that has enabled MNP to retain its status as one of the Best Employers in Canada every year since first participating in the annual organization-wide study, used to determine the Best Employers in Canada designation.

Bob actively supports his community and his profession, volunteering with several minor sports organizations, advisory Boards and professional Boards over his career. An avid supporter of education, he is currently a member of the Accounting Advisory Committee for SAIT Polytechnic. Bob was one of the founding Board Members for the CA School of Business and is currently the Chair of the Board of the Alberta Chartered Accountants Education Foundation. Bob obtained his CA designation in 1983 and in recognition of his contributions to the profession, Bob was elected a Fellow of the Chartered Accountants by the Council of the Alberta Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2012.
