Biography:

Doug Bedard, MBA, is a Senior Vice President and Director at MNP Corporate Finance Inc. in Calgary. Specializing in debt and equity services, he assists clients with capital markets transactions and provides customized financing and business plan advice.

Doug has more than 15 years of experience in the financial sector, advising clients in a diverse range of industries including oil and gas, forestry, financial institutions, health services, and aboriginal business. His success is based on a wealth of knowledge, including his experience serving as a regional manager of aboriginal banking in Alberta and the Northwest Territories.

Working collaboratively with clients to find the best financial solutions, Doug has assisted with debt structuring, raising private equity, and arranging financing from private and institutional sources, as well as from multiple government and international sources. He is particularly skilled at managing complex engagements that require significant due diligence and involve stakeholders in the public and private sector.

Doug earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Alberta and holds an MBA from Athabasca University. He is actively involved in his profession and has been a member of the Association of Financial Professionals and the Treasury Management Association of Canada.
