Biography:

Garth Busch, CA is the Regional Managing Partner for MNP’s Vancouver Island region. He has more than 35 years of experience delivering assurance, tax and consulting solutions to a wide range of clients in diverse industries including construction, forestry, aviation, health care and agriculture.

As leader for the region, Garth’s extensive accounting and advisory experience allows him to effectively mentor and empower MNP’s team members across Vancouver Island. Garth specializes in strategic performance management to help businesses and organizations stay competitive and profitable. He is an avid believer in MNP’s client service philosophy, and takes pride in working with clients to help them achieve their personal and business goals.

Prior to earning his Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 1978, Garth received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1976. In 2004, he received his Certification in
Strategic Performance Management (CSPM ) from Mentor Plus.

Committed to his community, Garth has held a number of leadership positions, including: Chair of the Government Affairs Committee for the Prince Albert Chamber of Commerce; Chair of Tourism Prince Albert Inc.; and President of the Prince Albert High Noon Optimist Club.
