Biography:
Greg Draper, CGA, DIFA, CFE delivers investigative and forensic accounting services to MNP clients across Western Canada.
Greg helps clients mitigate and manage their legal, financial and reputation risks related to fraud and other ethical breaches. His work includes conducting fraud risk assessments; developing incident response strategies; fraud awareness training; due diligence; loss quantification; and asset tracing and litigation support. He is also experienced in investigations of fraud, conflict of interest and employee misconduct.
Prior to joining MNP, Greg was a supervisor and senior investigator with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, where he led complex financial investigations.
Greg received his Bachelor of Human Justice degree from the University of Regina and a Diploma in Investigative and Forensic Accounting from the University of Toronto. He also holds the Certified General Accountant (CGA) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designations.
Active in the community and his profession, Greg speaks to various groups on the topic of fraud and risk management. He sits on the Board of Governors of CGA-Alberta, and is a citizen member of the audit committee for the City of Calgary. He has been appointed as an investigator and mediator under the Regulated Accounting Profession Act, and is a member of the Board of Governors of CGA-Alberta.
