Biography:

Laurel Wood, MBA, CMC is Executive Vice President, Clients and Services.

Laurel joined MNP in 2002 and is presently responsible for leadership of all of the firm’s service lines, industry and niche specialty groups. Prior to assuming this role, she had been instrumental in building several of the firm’s specialty practices including: corporate finance, consulting, insolvency, valuations and investigative and forensic services. Earlier in her career, Laurel spent 14 years with two global professional services firms.

Laurel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology and an MBA and is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC).

Always active in her community, Laurel has been involved in a number of business, educational & charitable boards and committees, both in Winnipeg and Calgary.

In 2009, Laurel was honoured by the Women’s Executive Network as one of the Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada in the Professionals category.
