Biography:

Steve Kerr, FCMA is Chief Financial Officer for MNP.

Steve joined MNP as Vice President of Finance and Administration in 2005, and became a Partner and CFO two years later. As a member of the Firm Leadership Team, he is responsible for overseeing areas of financial control, management reporting and strategic decision-making support. As CFO, he works as an advisor to the Global Board on the development and implementation of global financial and operational systems and controls.

Prior to joining MNP, Steve served as VP Finance of engineering and environmental consultancies in England, Canada, and the United States, serving on the Board in all three jurisdictions.

Steve qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant in the UK in 1997, while working in industry with a FTSE 100 company. After taking senior roles in construction, property development and engineering consultancies, he became a Fellow in 1981, and has now accumulated 25 years experience at the director level and above.

Still active with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants’ cell in Calgary, Steve is also a member of Financial Executives International.
