Biography:

As a Partner and member of MNP’s Firm Leadership Team, Ted implements the firm’s strategic plan through marketing, products, new client development and niche growth both regionally and nationally. This encompasses industry and specialty groups such as Aboriginal, Asian, Credit Unions, Forestry, Health Care Professionals, Oilfield Services and Manufacturing.

Before joining the executive team, Ted was a Partner in the Swift Current office and, later, Vice President of Agriculture. He has worked with a wide range of clients, advising owner-managed businesses in high-growth situations. He has extensive experience in strategic planning and performance management, and excels at strategic networking and building business relationships. Ted’s leadership in curriculum development and performance management has enhanced the firm’s growth.

Before becoming a Chartered Accountant, Ted spent 10 years in sales and marketing at a Fortune 500 company.

Ted is a strong supporter of the Alberta Cancer Foundation and the Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta. He is involved with the Oilympics Charity Hockey Tournament and the Willow Park Charity Wine Auction, and funds post-secondary education scholarships. Ted is a member of Theatre Calgary, the Ranchmen’s Club, the Petroleum Club and the Willow Park Golf and Country Club.
