Biography:
Trent Bester, MBA, is the Vice President of MNP’s National Consulting Practice and an elected member of the firm’s Board of Directors. Working out of the Vancouver office, Trent provides strategic and financial direction to a national team of professionals, helping them deliver the best possible outcomes for clients.
Trent has been instrumental in developing and growing the National Consulting Practice. He oversees and is accountable for the strategic and financial results in the delivery of services in the following areas: Planning, Performance Improvement, Organization and People, Financial Management, Information Technology, Research and Analytics, and Training Solutions. As a member of MNP’s Board of Directors, Trent participates in the development of the governance structure, firm policies and the short and long-term strategic direction of the firm.
Throughout his career, Trent has lived and worked across North America in a broad range of industries, including energy, forestry, manufacturing, financial services, and healthcare. He draws on more than 25 years of experience in professional services and private industry, including experience at two international accounting and advisory firms and as the owner-manager of a private-sector manufacturing business.
Trent received a Masters of Business Administration degree from Texas Christian University in Finance and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance degree from Baylor University.
