John C. Brose, Chartered Accountant joins MNP
Kenora, Ont. – Dec. 11, 2006 – Kenora’s growing marketplace has led Meyers Norris Penny LLP (MNP) to expand its Kenora office with the merger of John C. Brose, Chartered Accountant. The merger becomes effective Jan. 1, 2007, when the Brose firm will operate under the MNP name. John C. Brose and his five-member team have been providing accounting services in the Kenora region since 1984.
According to Brose, the move will be a tremendous benefit to local clients. “MNP already has an office in Kenora, they’re very active in the community, and they understand the marketplace. Through their expertise in key areas such as tax planning, management consulting, corporate finance, and business valuation, they can assist clients in developing a sound strategy to grow their businesses and manage that growth effectively.” MNP also has in-depth expertise in aboriginal services and owner-managed
businesses.
Brose adds the MNP team shares his commitment to getting to know clients one-on-one and providing straightforward, customized advice to help them meet their goals.

This is the second local firm to merge with MNP: Fregeau and Tompkin Chartered Accountants joined MNP in
January 2004.
