Edmonton’s fastgrowing market leads to MNP’s second location in the city.

Edmonton, AB – Aug. 8, 2007 – Jervis Afanasiff & Redinger Chartered Accountants (JAR) and Meyers Norris Penny LLP (MNP) announced today the merger of their practices effective Sept. 1, 2007, at which time JAR will operate under the name Meyers Norris Penny LLP (MNP). This represents MNP’s second merger in Edmonton this year as well as the firm’s second location, which is situated on Edmonton’s south side. MNP has been in operation in Edmonton since 1993.

According to Daryl Ritchie, FCA, chief executive officer with MNP, the merger reflects the outstanding growth in Edmonton’s business community. “Edmonton has one of the strongest economies in the country, with more than $40 billion in proposed regional projects planned over the next five years.
