Chartered accounting and business advisory firm joins Horwath International

September 18, 2008 - Calgary, AB - Meyers Norris Penny, the 7th largest accounting and business advisory firm in Canada, announced today, that they have joined the world wide accounting network Horwath International in an effort to better serve their clients.

Horwath International is a network of global accounting firms and associations. MNP said the move to Horwath International, effective September 184, 2008, will allow the firm to have a much stronger North American and international presence.

"The New York headquartered Horwath International Network has a number of member offices throughout North America and worldwide," said Daryl Ritchie, CEO of MNP. "Since a number of our clients operate within the context of a global marketplace, it was important for us to offer our clients the resources they need on a global scale."

The Network consists of more than 130 independent accounting and management consulting firms, 465 offices and 19,000 partners and staff in 410 cities. Net fee volume for the fiscal year ending December 2007, was approximately $2.5 billion.
