April 15, 2009 – Calgary, AB – Meyers Norris Penny LLP (MNP) is merging with Edmonton-based Redstone Management Consulting Ltd, effective June 1, 2009. MNP is Canada’s seventh largest accounting and business advisory firm.

Redstone provides management consulting and contracted management services with a focus on serving the forestry industry in Canada and the United States. The merger will allow Redstone to provide their clients with enhanced services and a larger national and global reach, while MNP will gain additional expertise and resources to expand its consulting and forestry practice.

Redstone offers a range of sophisticated management consulting services to a diverse group of clients, including all levels of government, the manufacturing industry, industry associations, and the forestry and natural resource sector.

MNP says they were looking to expand their consulting and forestry practice units and were particularly interested in the additional expertise and resources Redstone had developed, who have specialized in servicing this industry since 1993.
