For immediate release
Wednesday, April 28, 2010 – Calgary, AB – Meyers Norris Penny LLP (MNP), a chartered accountancy and business advisory firm serving Canada’s public and private mid-market enterprises, has held onto its title of ‘Canada’s seventh largest accounting firm’, according to the April 2010 issue of The Bottom Line accounting trade publication.
With its 2009 revenue totalling $293 million, MNP has experienced a revenue increase of 12.7 per cent compared to 2008, which is the highest growth in the industry.
“We have seen a great deal of growth once again this past year at MNP”, says Daryl Ritchie, MNP’s Chief Executive Officer. “Our consistent growth can be attributed to our strategic mergers and our firm’s philosophy to build relationships with our clients. These relationships have allowed our clients to place trust in us as we commit to providing additional services to help them grow their businesses, which in turn has allowed us to continue to grow our business.”
Earlier this year, The Globe and Mail’s Report on Business magazine honoured MNP as one of the 50 Best Employers in Canada for the second year in a row.
“We are proud of all the work our team members have contributed to attain these goals and will continue to strive to maintain our position as a top employer in Canada,“ adds Ritchie.
Recently, MNP also joined Praxity, AISBL a global alliance of independent accounting firms, which will allow the firm to have a much stronger international reach to better serve their clients.
