August 30, 2011 – Calgary, AB – The Montreal-based practice of William Epstein, Chartered Accountants, will merge with MNP LLP, one of largest chartered accountancy and business consulting firms in Canada, effective October 1, 2011. William Epstein, Chartered Accountants has been providing accounting and tax services to a variety of clients in a diverse range of industries for almost 40 years.

William Epstein and his partner, Howard Epstein, were looking for an opportunity to expand their practice’s business consulting services, while MNP was looking for a like-minded firm to add more resources to its growing Montreal location.

“We wanted to provide our clients with more services and merging with a well-established, full-service accounting and consulting firm made sense,” said William Epstein. “By partnering with MNP, we can provide even more resources and a greater depth of business consulting services to better meet our clients’ needs, while still providing the high-quality, personalized service they have come to expect.”

MNP first entered the Montreal marketplace in early 2011, when it merged with WSBG LLP. Over the last eight months, MNP has merged with a number of Montreal-based partners and firms.
