Tangible Capital Asset Training
MNP’s in-depth 3 Day Tangible Capital Asset Training program is designed to help you understand the changes in First Nation financial reporting and how to account for Tangible Capital Assets (TCA). This session will be tailored to your community or organization by using your TCA information as the basis for the presentation and the course material. Together, we will develop your work plan and identify the best members for your TCA Implementation Committee. After attending the workshop, you will be able to understand the new reporting requirements and will have developed a detailed work plan tailored to your community or organization so you can implement the new TCA reporting standards.
Training workshops cover a range of topics, including:
- Understanding the new accounting standards and government reporting model
- The need for and benefits of reporting TCA
- Developing TCA accounting policies
- TCA management practices
