Jamie Burrows, CPA, CA, CFE, is a Partner and Business Advisor with MNP’s Assurance Services group in Regina. Jamie has more than 17 years of experience providing assurance services to public companies, government entities and non-profit organization across Saskatchewan. As the Regional Assurance Partner, he is responsible for ensuring the quality of assurance services provided to clients in Southern Saskatchewan.

Jamie helps clients work through the implementation of new accounting standards, including International Financial Reporting Standards, Not- For-Profit Accounting Standards, Public Sector Accounting Standards and Accounting Standards for Private Entities. He has extensive experience reviewing and assessing internal controls and providing recommendations for improvement. Jamie has also conducted forensic investigations for both the provincial and federal governments, as well as for the private sector.

Prior to joining MNP, Jamie was the Director of Audit Services for the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority. He also worked in the Office of the Provincial Auditor for several years.

Jamie is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2000. He received the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designation in 2005. He also has a Bachelor of Administration degree from the University of Regina. Jamie currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Ranch Ehrlo Society, and chairs both the Audit Committee and the Finance Committee.
