On February 14, 2022, MNP’s Am Lidder, Senior Vice President of Tax Services, and Kim Drever, Regional Tax Leader, Edmonton, offered recommendations to the House of Commons on supporting Canada’s small- and mid-sized businesses.
As part of their submission of policy considerations to the House, Am and Kim addressed proposed amendments to Bill C-208, urging the Federal Government to take a broader view on intergenerational transfers of family businesses.
