We Stand in Solidarity with all Indigenous Children and Peoples of Canada

We stand in solidarity with all Indigenous peoples of Canada and with Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc First Nation for sharing this truth.

We mourn the loss of these 215 children and all those who never made it home from residential schools.

Today marks the start of National Indigenous History month. As a long-standing advisor and supporter of Indigenous communities and people across Canada, we acknowledge this tragedy and the families that have carried the burden of inter-generational trauma and hurt related to the history of residential schools in the country.

During the month of June, let us stand with each other and support the continued acknowledgment of the Indigenous community and the need to confirm that they are equal and active participants in all aspects of society.
