Janice Thorburn, CPA, CGA, is a Partner and Business Advisor with MNP’s Assurance and Accounting Services team. Based in Courtenay, Janice works with owner-managed businesses in various industries, including construction, service and retail as well as with professionals such as doctors, dentists and veterinarians.

A trusted advisor, Janice consults on a broad range of business issues and, during annual reviews, proactively suggests solutions that improve how her clients’ businesses operate. She assists with corporate restructuring for tax planning and is always available to answer questions clients may have.

Janice sees the successful relationships she’s developed with people over the years as partnerships built on hard work, commitment and trust. She enjoys actively helping business owners develop plans to achieve their goals and watching those plans come to fruition. She also enjoys empowering her clients by giving them new mastery over their finances.

Janice is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Certified General Accountant (CGA) in 1998. She sits on the board of directors at the Strathcona Sunrise Rotary Club.
