Managing Director

Based in Waterloo, Jonathan is a trusted team leader and player with valuable insights and robust problem-solving capabilities. He is dedicated to helping entrepreneurial businesses achieve success and works closely with his clients on strategy, planning, market assessment, implementing and closing corporate finance transactions.

A strategic thinker who is strongly detail-oriented, Jonathan advises on divestitures, mergers and acquisitions and raising capital (financing).

Jonathan has held executive roles for more than three decades, including as managing director and senior vice president at two of the Big Four firms.

Jonathan works closely with mid-sized, typically owner-operated businesses in a range of industries. These include manufacturing and processing, distribution and wholesale, business and consumer services, energy, engineering, environmental and mining services, and information technology, software as a service and telecommunications.

Jonathan earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. Honours) in Biochemistry from Queen’s University in 1985 and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Schulich School of Business, York University in 1987. He has been involved in his community for many years, most recently as a volunteer with the United Way of Edmonton and Calgary.
