A business advisor and member of MNP’s Tax practice in Halifax, Andrew focuses on Canadian corporate tax planning, primarily helping owner-managed businesses and high net worth individuals. Andrew works closely with each client to understand their unique needs and circumstances.

Andrew draws on more than a decade of experience providing tailored, practical planning solutions to help his clients minimize taxes owing and attain their goals. He specializes in tax planning for the sale and purchase of businesses, compensation planning, and tax optimization for owner-managers. He also helps his clients with estate planning to minimize tax upon death, and the intergenerational transfer of a business.

Andrew is experienced in a broad range of industries, including dealerships, manufacturing, construction, real estate, mining, utilities, and professionals - including doctors, dentists, investment advisors, engineers and lawyers.

Andrew obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Saint Francis Xavier University in 2011. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2014, and has completed CPA Canada’s In-Depth Tax Program.

Andrew is active in his community, sitting on the board of directors of Oakfield Golf and Country Club and on committees of the Dartmouth General Hospital Foundation.
