Barry Lang, CPA, CA, is a Partner in MNP’s Edmonton office. With more than 25 years of experience, Barry specializes in providing tax, consulting, accounting and advisory solutions for the professional services sector and entrepreneurial clients in a variety of industries.

Working closely with clients, Barry develops and implements income tax plans that minimize overall personal and corporate income taxes. He provides strategic advice on establishing corporations and developing an income tax plan based on the individual client’s situation. Barry also delivers a range of advisory services, including negotiating support for purchasing and selling businesses and attaining financing for business acquisitions.

Barry’s clients include professionals such as dentists, doctors and optometrists as well as companies in the manufacturing and real estate sectors. A trusted advisor, he gets to know his clients and their businesses so that he can deliver advice and solutions tailored to helping them achieve their goals.

Barry has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan and is a designated Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Accountant (CA). His community involvement includes serving as treasurer for Ronald McDonald House and as a board member for the Beulah Alliance Church.

    Aggregate deal value for the quarter increased to $4 billion across 66 transactions. By comparison Q3 totalled $3.5 billion in aggregate deal value across 54 disclosed transactions. Increased deal volumes suggests that investor sentiment is increasingly positive, especially as the vaccine roll-out commences and economic normalization is expected.
