David Turchen, CPA, CA, CPA (Washington), is a Partner and a U.S. Tax Specialist in MNP’s Abbotsford office. David delivers a comprehensive suite of cross-border tax services to corporate and individual clients in western Canada, including high-net-worth U.S. citizens, owner-managed businesses in Canada with U.S. operations and Canadian public companies with various U.S. interests.

Drawing on more than a decade of experience, David delivers unique alternatives to otherwise complex cross-border issues. He works closely with clients so he can help them understand their situation and provides effective and efficient solutions.

David’s corporate clients cover a broad range of industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, professional services, real estate, construction, entertainment services and agriculture. He is the firm’s U.S. Agriculture Tax Leader and a member of the Fraser Valley Region’s Agriculture Services team.

David graduated Summa Cum Laude from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor of Accounting degree. He holds the Certified Public Accountant (CPA (Washington)) designation and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2007. David is chair of the Abbotsford Hospice Society and a board member for the Provincial Health Services Authority.
