Deara earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Regina in 2005. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2008 and has completed the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants In-Depth Tax Course.
