Harry Ouaknin, CPA, CA, CIRP, is a Senior Manager with MNP’s Corporate Recovery and Restructuring group in Montréal. Harry consults with companies that are underperforming or experiencing financial issues, helping them identify challenges, see the larger picture and find solutions that allow them to achieve their goals.

Working closely with clients, Harry conducts business reviews, leads informal corporate restructuring turnarounds and assists with debt structuring and refinancing. When required, he also assists with formal corporate restructuring proposals and bankruptcy filings.

Harry has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and a Graduate Diploma in Public Accountancy from HEC Montréal. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2009, and a Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP). Harry has also completed the Canadian Securities Course.

    Middle Market M&A Update - Q4 2020

    Aggregate deal value for the quarter increased to $4 billion across 66 transactions. By comparison Q3 totalled $3.5 billion in aggregate deal value across 54 disclosed transactions. Increased deal volumes suggests that investor sentiment is increasingly positive, especially as the vaccine roll-out commences and economic normalization is expected.
