A member of MNP’s Valuations and Litigation Support team in Montréal, James is a strong communicator who is committed to delivering high quality client service. He advises his clients on navigating known financial issues as well as potential risks and opportunities, in order to minimize their risk and maximize their success.

James works one-on-one with private companies, publicly traded companies, and professionals. His services include business valuations, financial instruments, and intangible assets in connection with business combinations, corporate reorganizations, and fair value measurement for purchase price allocations. He also provides financial litigation support in connection with commercial and matrimonial disputes.

James helps companies in a variety of sectors, including renewable energy, manufacturing, software, pharmaceuticals and real estate.

Prior to joining MNP, James was a senior associate and assurance associate at a Big Four firm.

James graduated from the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University with a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in accounting in 2016 and a Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting (GCPA) in 2017. During his undergraduate degree, he received the RSM Richter Scholarship in Accounting and Peter S. Wise Memorial Prize in Accounting for academic achievement and graduated on the Dean’s Honours List. James is a Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators candidate at York University (2021).
