Jason is a member of MNP’s Consulting Services team in Prince George. Jason builds strategies that strengthen relationships, establishes systems that support good governance, and bring people together to create solutions to thorny problems. He helps clients find opportunities to benefit them, their communities and the planet, all with the view to supporting reconciliation with Indigenous peoples.

Jason helps clients who are exploring natural resource sector opportunities in the areas of forestry and sustainable resource management, policy development and impact assessment, and community and government relations. His services include strategic planning, assessment, communications and policy. He works with governments, forestry and bio-energy companies, Indigenous communities and enterprises, and businesses seeking to develop opportunities with Indigenous communities.

Prior to joining MNP, Jason worked in legal services, forest products, the B.C. Ministry of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development, bioenergy, and Indigenous economic development.

Jason earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in natural resource management (forestry) from the University of Northern B.C. in 1999 and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of British Columbia in 2005. He was called to the B.C. bar in 2007 and is a Registered Professional Forester (RPF, 2011).
