Kathy Abel, CPA, CA, is a Partner in MNP’s Kelowna office. As a business advisor, she has more than 25 years of experience working with owner-managed businesses. Committed to helping her clients achieve their goals, Kathy delivers customized accounting and business advisory solutions to clients in diverse industries.

Working with her clients one-on-one, Kathy assists them with their financial statement, strategic tax planning and compliance needs. She also has extensive experience developing effective succession plans that increase financial stability and minimize tax liabilities.

By getting to know her clients and understanding their vision, Kathy provides general tax consulting, cash-flow forecasting and analysis and performance measurement. Kathy's operational reviews and feasibility assessments give her clients the information they need to make better business decisions.

Kathy is also a graduate of MNP’s MPACT Program. This two-year program helps advisors develop the skills needed to understand and identify each client’s business challenges and assist them in developing and implementing their own solutions. Kathy is a graduate of Simon Fraser University and earned her Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 1985.
