Olwyn Steenson, CPA, ACFE, is a member of MNP’s Forensic and Litigation Support group in Vancouver. A trusted advisor, Olwyn shares insights, knowledge and builds long lasting positive relationships with clients in a variety of industries. These include financial services, retail and manufacturing as well as public practice.

Olwyn delivers a wide range of value-added accounting services, including full cycle accounting, auditing, forensic accounting, financial and regulatory reporting and treasury accounting.

Olwyn is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying in Canada in June 2015 and in the United Kingdom / Ireland in 2010 through the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

Olwyn earned a Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) in Accounting (First Class Honors) in 2002 from the Institute of Technology, Sligo, Ireland. She is designated with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).

Olwyn is treasurer of the Community Policing Centre West End Coal Harbour board of directors in Vancouver.

    Aggregate deal value for the quarter increased to $4 billion across 66 transactions. By comparison Q3 totalled $3.5 billion in aggregate deal value across 54 disclosed transactions. Increased deal volumes suggests that investor sentiment is increasingly positive, especially as the vaccine roll-out commences and economic normalization is expected.
