<p><strong>Tracy Campbell, MA</strong>, is a member of MNP&rsquo;s Consulting team in Calgary where she focuses on Aboriginal consultation, Aboriginal rights studies (also known as traditional land use studies) and Aboriginal reconciliation training. With more than 25 years of experience, Tracy helps First Nations, M&eacute;tis governments, public governments and industry understand and respond to the various aspects of the common law duty to consult.</p>
<p>Tracy integrates the duty to consult or Aboriginal consultation, into all phases of regulatory approvals, conducts Aboriginal rights studies for use in environmental assessments and provides strategic advice for developing and implementing meaningful duty to consult processes. Her specialty is conducting Aboriginal rights studies and strategically integrating them into the environmental review process to help identify potential impacts to Section 35 rights.</p>
<p>Tracy has helped provincial governments develop and execute duty to consult processes as well as develop supporting policy documents. She is passionate about constantly improving processes for involving Aboriginal Nations in the regulatory process and ensuring that all her clients benefit from MNP&rsquo;s collective knowledge about Aboriginal rights. Tracy provides training to help clients understand the steps to reconciliation with Aboriginal peoples.</p>
<p>In 1993, Tracy received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Calgary, where she majored in political science. She received her Master of Arts (MA) degree in natural resources and the environment from the same university in 1995.</p>
