“Sheri (Aberback) is a great fit and we are thrilled to have her,” said Louis Grossbaum, Regional Managing Partner in Montreal. “She brings an exceptional skill set, not only as insolvency and restructuring professional, but also as a certified fraud examiner. She is a tremendous asset to our Insolvency practice, which continues to grow.”
MNP recently announced two mergers with insolvency firms: Herpers Chagani Gowling Inc. (310-DEBT), a southwestern Ontario-based insolvency firm, and Stern Cohen Shier, a GTA-Based Insolvency firm. With these recent mergers, MNP will now deliver a wide range of insolvency services to help individuals and corporations successfully manage financial issues from more than 90 locations across Canada.
“MNP has a client-focused approach and an unwavering commitment to employees and clients. I am looking forward to joining a firm that shares my commitment to clients by delivering quality services,” said Aberback. “MNP’s insolvency practice, MNP Limited, has been helping individuals and businesses across Canada manage their financial problems for more than 40 years. This is a practice area that MNP’s team excels in and I am very excited about working together.”
Grossbaum acknowledged that trying to deal with financial issues can be very stressful. “There are a number of reasons why people and businesses may find themselves in financial trouble, but there are solutions. An insolvency professional will outline all of your options so you choose a solution that works for you. Together, Aberback and MNP are here to help people and businesses resolve their financial troubles and get back on the road to financial health.”
Aberback will move in to MNP’s Montreal office at 1155, boul. René-Lévesque O.bureau 2010 as of August 1, 2011. The firm is also currently looking for a location for her to operate from in the West Island.
