Operations Manager
Reporting to the President, the Operations Manager is responsible for leading and directing the planning, engineering, and purchasing departments as well as the manufacturing facility. The Operations Manager will identify and implement strategies for efficiencies, quality controls, and materials and inventory management, and ensure operational activities are on time and on budget, and will plan, organize, and control the manufacturing operation.
For over 100 years, Fort Garry Fire Trucks (FGFT) has been engineering equipment for the most extreme conditions in the world, building fire trucks, custom-built pumpers, aerial ladders, water delivery tankers and related fire-fighting equipment. Holding multiple certifications to ensure the entire FGFT team meets and exceeds customer expectations, they are on the leading edge of manufacturing in both technique and design.
