Tracy Leishman, CPA, CA, BSc. (Ag. Eng.), is a Partner with MNP’s Taxation Services team in Grande Prairie. Specializing in Canadian taxation services, Tracy works with family-owned and managed businesses in a variety of industries, including agriculture, oilfield services, professionals, forestry services and retail.

A skilled listener, Tracy develops an in-depth understanding of her clients’ goals and challenges that allows her to create customized solutions that help them succeed. Tracy has more than 18 years of experience working with entrepreneurs in the areas of personal and corporate tax planning, corporate reorganization and estate and succession planning.

Having grown up on a family farm, Tracy knows the importance of farm business structure planning and strives to help clients select a structure that will allow them to achieve their goals. She also understands the intricacies of developing a plan for transferring farm assets to the next generation and is adept at guiding her clients through the process in a timely manner.

Tracy was designated a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2001. Prior to that, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Alberta.
