David Bliss CPA, CA

Partner and Business Advisor

David C. Bliss, CPA, CA, is a Partner in MNP’s Assurance Services group. Serving the Peace River, High Prairie and Falher regions, David delivers a variety of assurance and accounting services, personal and corporate tax planning, financial forecasting and business advisory services to help clients proactively manage their operations. His major areas of focus are in agricultural and oil and gas services.

Focused on providing one-on-one assistance and developing customized solutions, David works closely with a wide variety of clients. He provides services to owner-operators, family enterprises and multi-company related and unrelated groups seeking assistance with finding tax and business solutions and growing their businesses.

Whether he’s helping clients with compliance or consulting on a broad range of business issues, David translates reporting, tax or operational complexities into terms that are easy to understand. His relationship with clients is centred around being a trusted advisor and discovering what success looks like for each individual client he serves. David works to understand his clients’ operations, identify immediate and future needs and develop a plan that will help them meet their goals.

David was designated a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Accountant (CA) in 1996 after obtaining a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta. He has devoted volunteer time to serving on the boards of a number of non-profit organizations, such as the High Prairie Minor Hockey Association, the High Prairie and District Sports Complex Society, and the High Prairie and District Golf Club.
