Bijan is a member of MNP’s Assurance and Accounting group in Toronto. Bijan provides assurance and accounting advisory services to large- and medium-sized public companies, helping them achieve their business goals.

With extensive experience in accounting and audit in emerging industries, Bijan focuses on complex accounting issues under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (U.S. GAAP). He advises on regulatory issues, prospectus filings, purchase price allocation accounting and biological assets. He is also heavily involved in the Firm’s educational offerings for clients.

Bijan earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) from Carleton University in accounting and economics. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA). He is also involved in educating the next generation of accountants, as a university instructor and through a variety of CPA Canada initiatives.
