Jason leads the Tax Services group in MNP’s Kingston office. With more than two decades of experience, Jason works one-on-one with company owner-managers, including health care professionals and technology start-ups, providing guidance on cross-border tax issues as well as tax credit programs.

While saving clients tax dollars is always top of mind, Jason also finds satisfaction in helping them resolve complex situations that have been causing them stress. He is a second-generation accountant and is driven to help people make the most of tax and business opportunities and achieve their goals.

After graduating from Queen’s University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) in accounting and finance, Jason spent 10 years at a national accounting firm in Toronto, where he provided tax services to some of Canada’s largest companies and a diversity of global companies.

Jason is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2005. He teaches tax in the Smith School of Business Commerce Program at Queen’s University and through CPA Ontario’s In-Depth Tax Course.
