Loretta Coates, CPA, CA

Loretta Coates, CPA, CA, is a Partner with MNP’s Assurance Services team in Grande Prairie.

Loretta helps her clients achieve their strategic and operational goals, with a focus on businesses in the upper mid-market in the hospitality, forestry, construction and oilfield services industries. She advises clients on all day-to-day business issues, from completing a business plan, bank financing and preparing cashflow projections, to hiring a CFO, building budgets and transitioning a business.

Loretta earned her Bachelor of Commerce degree from Athabasca University in 2006 and received her CA designation in 2009. She made Partner in 2014 at the age of 30 and is one of MNP’s youngest risk assurance partners.

Loretta won the 2017 CPA Alberta Early Achievement Award for her exceptional service to the accounting profession and to the community as a tireless volunteer. She is a board member and Chair of Finance with the Phillip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum.
