Madelaine Cyr is an Analyst on the Indigenous Services Consulting Team in Calgary. Before joining MNP, Madelaine worked as a Child and Youth Care Counsellor at a mental health and detox facility, where she was responsible for program development and management, as well as client safety.
At MNP, Madelaine supports projects with Indigenous clients, focusing on Child and Family Services, Education, and Health. Madelaine has worked on a range of projects involving policy development, strategic and business planning, and community engagement. With the knowledge and skills developed through her experience and training, Madelaine approaches her work through a trauma-informed lens.
Madelaine has a degree in Sociology and Indigenous Studies from Mount Royal University and is a certified Child and Youth Care Counsellor in the province of Alberta.
