David Bouchard

Managing Director

David is the Managing Director of Transaction Advisory Services within MNP's Corporate Finance group. He has more than 10 years of banking experience in corporate finance, private equity, and investments.

His areas of expertise include debt financing and subordinated financing, management buyout projects, mergers and acquisitions, emergency financing, and financing for new projects. Known for his pragmatic approach to challenging situations, David helps his clients understand the key issues and how to overcome them. Throughout his career, he has led numerous transactions where his creative approach has been crucial in developing solutions for the most complex situations.

David holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in finance and accounting with high honors from Syracuse University. He is active in his community, notably on the Québec committee of Réseau Capital, the province’s investment capital association. He also serves on the board of directors of the Portneuf Amateur Sports Foundation as its president.

Before his professional career, David was awarded a scholarship to play Division 1 football for the Syracuse University Orangemen. During his graduate studies at Université Laval, he was an offensive lineman for the Rouge et Or. After a brief stint with the Montreal Alouettes, he ended his athletic career. However, he continues to coach football at the high school level.
