Jason Hoang, CPA, CPA (IL)

Jason is a member of MNP’s Tax Services team in Toronto. He is dedicated to helping his clients navigate U.S. tax issues and achieve their business goals.

His services include preparing U.S. federal and state partnership, corporate, and franchise taxes along with state sales taxes, focused on U.S. inbound and outbound international tax issues

A clear, proactive communicator and a collaborative business advisor, Jason helps his clients fulfil their U.S. tax obligations and manage U.S. business activities, advising on business structuring, acquisitions, sales, and other issues from both a domestic and foreign perspective.

Jason graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and a Master of Accounting (MAcc) in 2018, and from the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law with a Master of Taxation (MTax) in 2024, receiving the 2024 – 2025 Outstanding Taxation Graduate Award. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying in 2021 and is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA (IL)).
