Joanna Hazan, CPA auditor

Joanna is a CPA Auditor with MNP’s Assurance and Accounting group in Montréal. A seasoned business advisor, she brings to her role more than a decade of experience across a wide range of industries. Committed to delivering exceptional service at all times, she develops practical solutions tailored to her clients’ needs.

Joanna leverages extensive experience in sectors that include retail, manufacturing, real estate, and professional services. She provides audit, review, and compilation engagements, as well as tax services for businesses and individuals.

Joanna also leads assurance engagements for not-for-profit organizations, including schools, foundations, daycare centres, associations, community service organizations, and federations. She has in-depth knowledge of accounting standards and government regulations applicable to the not-for-profit sector.

To help clients achieve their business objectives, she works closely with boards of directors, supporting executive management and board members in meeting funding requirements, accountability obligations, compliance standards, and sound financial governance practices. She also provides guidance on budgeting, resource optimization, and financial management.

Bilingual in English and French, Joanna holds a Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting from HEC Montréal. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2014, and a CPA Auditor.

Joanna volunteers on the board of directors, as well as on the finance and management committee, of her local school.
