Mark Tam, MAcc, CPA

Mark is a Partner with MNP's Indirect Tax Services team in Toronto. He works with national and international clients across a wide range of industries, including cross-border goods and services and real estate and construction, to manage their Canadian indirect tax issues.

Mark's services include Canadian indirect tax advisory and compliance, responding to audits and examinations, filing notices of objection, conducting compliance reviews, submitting voluntary disclosure applications, and helping real estate developers navigate the complex self-assessment and rebate process.

Mark graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honours Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biotechnology / Chartered Professional Accountancy in 2017, and a Master of Accounting (MAcc) in 2018. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying in 2021.

Mark is the longtime treasurer of Whispering River Music in Parry Sound, a registered charity that promotes Canadian classical music, particularly the work of contemporary Canadian women composers.
