Tim is a Business Advisor with MNP’s Tax Services group in Dartmouth and St. John’s. With more than a decade of experience, he delivers practical tax advice on complex tax issues to owner-managed businesses.

Tim’s services include tax planning and compliance for corporations, individuals, and trusts. In addition, he helps his clients with inbound non-resident tax compliance, specifically non-resident entertainers. He offers tailored tax planning advice on the use of trusts, purchasing and selling a business, and structuring businesses for long-term success while minimizing tax obligations.

Tim earned his Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) Summa Cum Laude from Saint Mary’s University in 2014. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying in 2017, and completed CPA Canada’s In-Depth Tax Course in 2020.

Tim is the treasurer of GEO Nova Scotia, a not-for-profit organization that provides online access and computer skills to Nova Scotians. He also served as president of the Halifax Estate Planning Council and treasurer of LakeCity Works.
