MNP’s Shazia Bandali Receives 2021 Emerging Leader Award from CPA Ontario

MNP offers its sincere congratulations to Shazia Bandali, Senior Manager in our Toronto North region, for being named among CPA Ontario’s 2021 Emerging Leaders Award recipients.

This exclusive recognition is reserved for a handful of rising stars, aged 34 and under, who hold a CPA designation and make outstanding contributions to their community and their profession. According to CPA Ontario: “Emerging Leaders chart their own paths, cultivate an atmosphere where innovation thrives, and elevate the accounting profession. They bring strategic thinking and solutions to the challenges Ontario’s economy faces, while also contributing to the greater good of our province through social endeavors.”

Shazia joined MNP following her graduation from Brock University in 2013, and since that time has made outstanding contributions to the firm’s assurance and tax practices. She delivers practical advice to a wide range of clients, from owner-managed businesses to mid-sized and large private corporations. In particular, she works closely with small and medium-sized companies in the real estate and construction industries.

Shazia is also involved in uplifting her community through volunteerism and advocacy for important causes.

Cette reconnaissance exclusive est réservée à une poignée de jeunes CPA d’exception de 34 ans ou moins qui ont su s’illustrer par leur apport remarquable à la collectivité et à leur profession. Selon CPA Ontario, ces jeunes professionnels se démarquent en traçant leur propre voie, en favorisant l’innovation et en faisant rayonner la profession comptable. Ils apportent une réflexion et des solutions stratégiques pour composer avec les enjeux économiques en Ontario, tout en contribuant au mieux-être dans la province au moyen d’initiatives communautaires.

Shazia, qui s’est jointe à MNP en 2013 après des études à l’Université Brock, a apporté une contribution exceptionnelle aux groupes Certification et Fiscalité du cabinet. Dans son rôle, elle offre des conseils pratiques à un large éventail de clients, d’entreprises dirigées par leur propriétaire aux grandes sociétés privées. Elle collabore étroitement avec les petites et moyennes entreprises, notamment dans le secteur de l’immobilier et de la construction.

Source d’inspiration pour ses concitoyens, Shazia se consacre également au bénévolat et à la défense de causes qui lui sont chères.
