Jameel Sayani CPA, CA, CAFM
Regional Managing Partner, Northern B.C.
Jameel Sayani, BASc, CPA, CA, CAFM, is the Regional Managing Partner for MNP’s Northern B.C. region. Based in Prince George, he leads the firm’s growth in Northern B.C., including offices in Prince George, Quesnel, Terrace, Vanderhoof and Williams Lake, while delivering a broad range of assurance, tax and consulting solutions to Indigenous clients across the province.
Jameel also leads the Indigenous Services practice for MNP’s Vancouver Island and Northern B.C. regions. Working closely with First Nations communities and organizations, he takes pride in building strong relationships with his clients to help them develop strategic direction and realize their vision for their communities and generations to come.
Drawing on more than 10 years of experience in public practice, Jameel delivers a wide range of business advisory services to Indigenous clients in ways that align with their values, vision, and culture. In addition to providing core accounting services, he also acts as a deal-flow advisor to First Nations and leverages MNP’s extensive expertise to assist clients with governance, business planning, recruitment, training, and succession planning.
Jameel is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Accountant (CA), designated in 2010 after receiving a Bachelor in Applied Science degree at York University and a Diploma in Accounting at the University of British Columbia. In 2012, he became a Certified Aboriginal Financial Manager (CAFM). Active in his community, Jameel serves as Director with the CPA Education Foundation of B.C. and is past-president of the Nanaimo Youth Services Association. In 2013, he was named one of the Top 20 Under 40 for Vancouver Island.
Our Williams Lake Office
Since 2018, MNP has been proud to work in partnership with the Northern Development Initiative Trust to produce the State of the North economic report. Designed to assist business and community leaders with strategic investment decisions, the report includes traditional economic indicator information, overviews of core economic sectors such as forestry, agriculture, mining and energy and regional profiles for the Cariboo-Chilcotin / Lillooet, North Central, Northwest, Northeast areas.
