Brandon Hodge is a Partner and Business Advisor with MNP’s Tax Services group in Markham. Brandon focuses on Specialty Tax, with an emphasis on tax-motivated corporate reorganizations, including structuring for private equity investment into Canada, debt utilization transactions and succession planning. He also has extensive experience helping business owners maximize the tax results on the purchase or sale of a business.

Prior to joining MNP, Brandon worked in the high net worth – private company services group of a Big Four accounting firm. He has authored or co-authored numerous articles dealing with international tax, corporate tax and executive compensation. Brandon has also acted as tutor for CPA Canada’s Advanced Tax Issues for the Owner-Managed Business course from 2013 to 2015.

Brandon has a law degree from Queen’s University and previously practiced as a lawyer in both B.C. and Ontario.
