Alexander Kmec, CPA Auditor, CPA (Illinois)

Alex is a Partner in MNP’s U.S. Corporate Tax Services group in Montréal. He listens carefully to his clients’ needs and objectives and provides timely and quality service. Alex serves U.S.-based companies doing business inside and outside the U.S., as well as non-U.S. companies looking to set up shop in the U.S.

He works with large and mid-sized clients, managing a broad array of federal and state U.S. corporate and partnership compliance and consulting issues.

Prior to joining MNP, Alex worked at a Big Four Firm helping clients with federal and state compliance, as well as with their tax provision requirements.

Alex graduated from the University of Concordia with a Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) in accountancy in 2015 and a Graduate Diploma in Public Accountancy in 2016, and from Golden Gate University in 2022 with a Master’s in Taxation (MS). He is a CPA Auditor, qualifying in 2021 and a U.S. Certified Public Accountant (Illinois 2022).
